The diet struggle is real. We’ve all been there, two pounds lost, five pounds gained, rinse and repeat. It’s frustrating, it’s exhausting and in many cases it makes falling off the “junk food” wagon that much easier.

I have been a lifelong dieter and have been bouncing up and down with those 20 extra pounds. I’ve tried Atkins and Weight Watcher and cleanses. I’ve done boot camps and fasts to lose weight. I struggle with a sluggish metabolism, a problem plaguing many members of my family. I would lose weight, but I’ve always had a problem with weight maintenance. Well, I decided I was fed-up and wanted something healthy that would help me maintain my weight loss.

I heard about Dr. Legere’s “Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program,” through “Door to Door Med Spa” and it sounded like a great fit. I get one-on-one supervision with a doctor who actually listens to me and my concerns.

The program involves 3 packaged low-carbohydrate, protein adequate meals a day, and one of my own. Dr. Legere took my measurements, read through my health history and took my body composition.

My starting stats are 163lbs. at 5 ft. 4 inches with 35% body fat.  I was told that I would lose 2-3 pounds a week. Once I reach my goal weight, Dr. Legere will transition me back to a daily diet which will help me keep the pounds off and maintain my weight.

I am excited to reach my goal of 140 pounds, as I am on a journey to lose the weight in a healthy way!
